The breadmaker

Picked up another bread-maker this morning that was offered on my local FreeCycle list. And Py hasn't been found yet. I'm beginning to think my DH's right about my kitty being stolen.

More on Moving . . .

Two whole boxes!!! That's ALL my mom wanted me to pack. Apparently, she just wanted to visit and chat. It was nice, but would've been much more appropriate on a weekend when I didn't have other things I need to do and lots more time on my hands. Grrr...

Moving Mother

Wouldn't you know, right as the heat climbs daily towards the century mark, my mom decides to move to a new aprtment. Now, this wouldn't be so bad if I lived closer. It's an hour trip one-way to get to her, and I'm going to help her pack as much as possible today. I'm hoping the heat isn't too bad for the drive.

Texas Heat

I've sold a few hats, written a little, and my Py is still missing. My other cat, Merlin, keeps walking around the house YEOWING and looking for his playmate. The summer heat's also getting to my car's A/C, meaning it crapped out. Not good.

Father’s Day

Going out to a fav eatery is always fun. My son even signed his own name to my DH's card! :-)

It's official

My Py is still missing. I'm going to check the animal shelter and make posters and flyers to out around the neighborhood. My DH thinks someone stole him, and that makes me madder then hell. I mean, a tabby? I could see a Siamese or Persian getting snatched, but a regular cat?? Geez. I really, really miss my sweet little cat.

I'm on a costume binge again, and trying to make more $$$ for DH to take on his fishing trip mext month. Hopefully I'll meet my modest goal of $200.

Not a great day. My Pywacket didn't come home last night, and I'm worried about him. Maybe he's just out romping with friends.

Butterflies and Plants

At Scarborough a couple of weeks back, we visited the Butterfly House habitat and picked up some info about them. And, wanting more of the fluttery bugs in my yard to look at, I bought some nice Verbena and other plants at Home Depot. No writing, just a lot of watching out the window.

Dashing & Dancing . . .

Okay, that was hairy. Too short on time and dealing with getting my kid to the babysitter. I checked and I'm definitely changing my step class so I can duck out a bit early to shower and change, then get intothe next class. Weeee---summer's so fun. First hand experience is great to put into stories.

Dancing & Exercise

Tonight after my aerobics class I'm making a mad dash to get to the first of my ballroom dance classes at another location, 10 minutes away. The logistics has me nervous about being late, so no writing today. Maybe for the summer, I'll look into changing my step aerobics to the other Rec. center so I won't court any speeding tickets. We'll see.

Happy-happy joy-joy!! My 5-yo is at summer camp all week, which gives me quiet time to write. :-D
