Happy Birthday To Me!

Spent yesterday at our local Renaissance faire (Scarborough) and had a blast! I even lost enough weight over the past year to fit back into my old garb. I've also decided I need a new outfit for next year, so the fabric hunt is on!

Cousin Bonnie’s Wedding

I'm so used to writing on my new MobilePro at night in bed before I go to sleep, I took it with me this past weekend to San Antonio. The trip was a huge event in the family. One of my DH's cousin got married in an elaborate Catholic wedding. This was an all-day affair, and everything was gorgeous, especially the bride, plus I was in heaven when I found out I could eat as many stuffed jalapenos as I wanted (I stopped at 10). It's always been one of my favorite snack foods, and an order of only 3 never seems enough. Oh, I was truely in heaven! I ate, danced, took pictures, enjoyed great company, and was even inspired to do some good writing. Oh, and I thoroughly enjoyed raiding my MIL's cookbooks for new recipes.

Making Entries

Okay, so I haven't been as diligent as I should be making entries. But Mercury is retrograde again, characterized by trouble with any kind of communication and/or transportation. And since I work mostly on my computer (when not building costumes or creating other stuff to sell online), that always means problems. Yea, I've got a few computer problems. Like waking up this morning to find ALL MY EDITS from yesterday totally gone from my MobilePro! Yiks!! I've got a full day ahead of me.

Mother’s Day

Got a bit of writing done on MLE, mostly editing. Then I detoured and bought myself a cute litte sapphire blue dragon pendant and told my DH it was from him. Got some nice flowers and went out to eat at our fav chinese place. All in all, a nice day. :-)
